FRIDAY: The Arctic air is on its way out! A warmer air mass is taking over from west to east today with morning lows that have been 10 to 20-degrees warmer than Thursday! It’s still chilly, though, especially as a southerly wind kicks in and brings down wind chills, even as temperatures are rising today. By the afternoon hours, we’re looking at highs above zero everywhere and in the teens in eastern ND. Skies will start sunny and become more cloudy through the day.
TONIGHT: A system brushing by the Red River Valley to the south will introduce spotty freezing drizzle and/or flakes in our southern and eastern viewing area (NE SD & west central MN). This will continue to be a possibility into Saturday morning before clearing out. Temperatures Friday night into Saturday continue to slowly rise!
