The Liberal MNA for the Acadie riding, André A. Morin, announced his support for party leadership candidate Charles Milliard on Friday.
Morin becomes the fourth to endorse the former president of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec.
At the beginning of October, Virginie Dufour (Mille-Îles), André Fortin (Pontiac) and Madwa-Nika Cadet (Bourassa-Sauvé) announced that they were joining Milliard.
Milliard can pride himself on having the most support within the caucus for now.
“André Morin’s arrival is a great source of pride for our team. His outstanding law expertise combined with his keen sense of public service and the rule of law make him an invaluable asset,” Milliard said in a news release on Friday.
“He embodies the very essence of the values we wish to promote in this race: competence, humanism and proximity,” he added.
More and more elected Liberals are positioning themselves in the leadership race.
