Essex OPP investigating Leamington robbery [Video]

The Essex OPP are investigating a Leamington robbery that took place overnight Friday.

At 11:05 p.m., police were called to a disturbance on Erie Street in Leamington.

Officers said through investigation, they determined a victim was robbed by two or three people, who left the scene in a dark coloured SUV before OPP arrived.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

OPP believe this was an isolated incident and confirm there was no threat to public safety.
