Snow and -10 C temperatures will take over southern Ontario this week [Video]

Minus temperatures are making a comeback this week in southern Ontario, bringing along cloudy skies, snow and rain.

As of today (Dec. 15) residents will wake up to mainly cloudy skies, with rain and snow beginning in the morning and continuing into the afternoon. Wind speeds will reach up to 15 km/h, contributing to a chilly start to the day.

Morning wind chills will range from -7 C to -9 C before daytime highs climb above freezing to 2 C. By late afternoon, patchy freezing rain or freezing drizzle could develop, potentially creating hazardous travel conditions.

Cloudy skies will persist into the evening as periods of rain and snow continue. Temperatures will remain steady at around 2 C through the night, with fog patches developing around midnight and lingering into the morning.
