The Saskatchewan RCMP have arrested another suspect wanted in relation to a fatal shooting in North Battleford back in February.

On Dec. 12, the Saskatchewan RCMP’s major crimes unit located and arrested a 17-year-old male in Regina.

He has been charged with one count of manslaughter and one count of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He made his first appearance in provincial court in Regina on Dec. 13.

Due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, police can not identify the accused.

The charges stem from the death of Jordan Wright, 32, on Feb. 2, 2024 in North Battleford.

An investigation into Wright’s death determined two suspects entered a 93rd Street home, armed with weapons.
