Pedestrian struck on Longwoods Road, police investigating [Video]

A child is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash on Longwoods Road just west of Lambeth Monday afternoon.

Police say the crash involving a child pedestrian, happened just before 4:00 p.m. near the intersection of Longwoods and Murray Road.

The child was transorted to hospital, and everybody involved remained on scene.

Longwoods Road was closed between Colonel Talbot Road and Kilborne Road for most of the evening.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone that was in the area and may have dash-cam or video surveillance in the area between 3:45 and 4:05 p.m. is asked to contact police.
