Death investigation underway in Hanover [Video]

Officials have released few details about a death investigation in Hanover.

According to Ontario Provincial Police, members of the Hanover Police Service were called to 5th Street at around 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday.

At an unnamed address, they found one person who was deceased.

A vehicle of interest was identified, which was spotted that same day in the Owen Sound area. Police there arrested one person.

OPP have not released any further details about the victim, their manner of death, how the vehicle was identified, the person who was taken into custody or any charges they may be facing.

They did say the investigation is in its early stages and residents may see an increased police presence near 5th Street in Hanover.
