It’s another mostly cloudy to overcast day. A northwest breeze off of Lake Superior has created some lake flakes closer to the Upper Michigan border and into Door County. However, these should be fading away through the afternoon. Otherwise, it’s seasonably cold, with steady temperatures in the upper 20s to the lower 30s.

A FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY continues for Thursday… The National Weather Service has also issued a WINTER STORM WATCH. A strong “Alberta Clipper” storm system will arrive tomorrow. Widespread snow will break out by mid-morning, and last through Thursday afternoon and evening. Much of the area will get 4-8” of snow. We’ve boosted those forecast totals because we’re anticipating that an east breeze blowing off of Lake Michigan, will create lake-effect snow.
