A popular annual Christmas light display at a Burnaby, B.C., home is back up and running for the rest of the holiday season.
The DuPlessis family’s property once again features thousands of lights and decorations, as well as several synchronized 12-minute musical sequences.
“It’s just fun to build and see the happiness in people when they come by,” Joel DuPlessis told CTV News.
DuPlessis started building Christmas when he was a teenager, and continued that tradition when he moved his family to their current home in 2000.
This year, he’s changed to pixel lighting, meaning DuPlessis can change the colours with the flick of a switch.
“I just look for what I can do to add each year, how can I make it brighter and cheerier and bring more people to enjoy,” he said.
