A driver travelling through Central Ontario was pulled over by police and found to have a quantity of drugs.
The West Parry Sound Detachment of the OPP reports that on Dec. 15 at approximately 3 p.m., officers stopped a driver for a sobriety test on Highway 69 near Magnetawan First Nation, south of Sudbury.
When they pulled the driver over they found open cannabis product and a further search uncovered $40,000 worth of cocaine.
Police have not released the name of the driver but he is a 21-year-old from Brampton.
He is charged with drug possession and property obtained by crime over $5,000. He has been held for a bail hearing.
