Police say charges have been laid against a 19-year-old man in connection with a series of robberies that targeted cannabis and convenience stores in Calgary and Edmonton.
In November, investigators looking into the case linked the incidents to one suspect.
On Dec. 16, authorities arrested a man in a northeast Calgary parking lot.
It’s believed he is responsible for 17 robberies in Calgary and four in Edmonton.
All of the robberies took place between Sept. 1 and Dec. 16, police said.
Officials add the accused disguised himself using fake beards, moustaches, hats, sunglasses, masks and wigs during the incidents.

Following the arrest, police executed a search warrant on a home in the 8300 block of Saddlebrook Drive N.E., a storage unit in the 2100 block of 23 Street N.E. and a vehicle.
