Two deaths in Truro ruled homicides: RCMP [Video]

Police in Nova Scotia are investigating after two deaths in Truro, N.S., over the weekend have been ruled homicides.

Truro Police Service says they received a report that two men, a 27-year-old from Truro and a 25-year-old from Picou Landing First Nation, N.S., attended the hospital with serious injuries consistent with stab wounds around 9:15 p.m. Thursday.

Following an investigation, police believe the victims were assaulted by one or more people and they don’t believe the incident was random.

Colchester County District RCMP responded to a report of a man in medical distress at a home on Vincent Drive in Upper Onslow around 11:50 p.m. Saturday. The 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The next day, police responded to a similar report of a man in medical distress at a home on Lacinia Drive in Truro around 10 a.m. Sunday. Police say the 27-year-old man was pronounced dead …
