There are plenty of ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Calgary this year.

Here’s a look at 10 local events:

City of Calgary’s fireworks display

• What: There will be live entertainment, food trucks and family-friendly activities at the City of Calgary’s New Year’s Eve celebration.
• When: Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m.
• Where: Prince’s Island Park and Lot 59 (200-286 Memorial Dr. N.W.)

Flames vs. Canucks

• What: The Calgary Flames take on the Vancouver Canucks in a New Year’s Eve matchup.
• When: Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 7 p.m.
• Where: Scotiabank Saddledome, 555 Saddledome Rise S.E.

Southcentre Mall celebration

• What: Head to Southcentre Mall for Golden Memories, Blue Skies. The event will include stilt walkers, aerial acrobats, a DJ and a dance floor. The night will end with a dazzling drone show.
• When: Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Where: Southcentre Mall, 100 Anderson Rd. S.E.
