A two-vehicle collision in Calgary’s northeast on Friday sent a child to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the crash happened shortly after 3 p.m., at Centre Street and Livingston Avenue N.E.
It’s believed a 2020 Volvo, southbound on Centre Street, collided with a 2008 Mazda.
According to EMS, a child was transported from the scene in potentially life-threatening condition.
In the aftermath of the incident, police closed the intersection.
Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes, and 1st Street N.E. was recommended.
