An apartment building in central Edmonton was evacuated Monday morning because of a next-door fire.
Flames were still visible at 10731 102 St. when CTV News Edmonton arrived at the scene around 6 a.m.
The neighbouring building was evacuated as a precaution. A city bus was brought in to keep evacuees warm.
One of the next-door residents said the building had been boarded up for a few months.
Alberta Health Services ruled it was not fit for human habitation in August because of a fire.
