ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Clear skies continue for much of the state through at least midweek. High pressure dominates the state, keeping clouds and warmer temperatures to the south in the Gulf of Alaska.

Temperatures will stay cold through much of the Interior and Northern areas. Fort Yukon will see lows near -37 on Monday night and a high only of -29.

Those cold temperatures and winds of about 15 mph will bring wind chills to Northern Alaska to 50 to 55 below.

Most of Southcentral will see clear and colder temperatures for the next few days with highs in Anchorage near 20 degrees, overnight lows will drop into the low teens.
