Police close highway south of Redwater after collision [Video]

A stretch of highway south of Redwater is closed Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision.

RCMP said in a media release the serious collision occurred on Highway 38 near Township Road 570, about seven kilometres south of the town.

Emergency workers are on the scene, police said, and drivers are asked to find different routes to avoid the area.

Redwater is 51 kilometres northeast of Edmonton.
