N.S. RCMP looking for man charged with assault [Video]

The Halifax Regional RCMP is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Damon Rees, a man from Lower Sackville, N.S., wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant.

Rees, 30, is facing the following charges according to an RCMP news release:

  • aggravated assault
  • assault by choking
  • breach of probation

Rees is described as five-foot-seven and 165 pounds in the release, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said they made several attempts to locate Rees. They are asking the public for assistance, but advising anyone who identifies Rees to refrain from approaching him.
