SUV runs over Tesla on the QEW in Ontario [Video]

A three-vehicle crash ended with an SUV on top of a Tesla on the QEW in Oakville.

Emergency crews responded to the collision just before 4:30 p.m. on Monday, OPP said on X.

The driver of the Tesla had pulled onto the left shoulder due to a slowdown in the westbound lanes of the QEW before Royal Windsor Drive, police said.

Police said a pickup truck hit the SUV from behind and then the SUV drove over the Tesla.

Minor injuries were reported.

The pickup truck driver was charged with careless driving, police said.
