Man, 20, seriously injured in shooting incident [Video]

Police say a 20-year-old Saskatoon man is recovering in hospital after being shot while attending to a residence on the 100 block of Avenue V South.

On Dec. 31, around 11:50 p.m., police were called to a report of an injured person at an apartment block in the 100 block of Avenue W South, Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said in a news release.

Officers said the victim had made his way there after he reported being at the door to the home on Avenue V when he was shot.

He was then transported to hospital with a serious but non-fatal injury.

Police say the serious assault unit is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Saskatoon police or Crime Stoppers.
