Around 5:25 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, officers received a report of two-vehicle collision on Highway 12, just south of the intersection with Highway 305, Warman RCMP said in a news release.

Arriving officers found that a semi and SUV had collided.

According to police, the driver and passenger of the SUV, a 29-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both from Saskatoon, were pronounced dead by EMS at the scene. Their families have been notified.
