Two women were taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash on Highway 417 Sunday afternoon, according to Ottawa paramedics.
A spokesperson tells CTV News the crash happened at approximately 1:35 p.m. in the westbound lanes at Walkley Road.
The drivers were treated on scene and taken to the Montfort hospital with minor injuries, Ontario Provincial Police say.
Two right lanes of the highway near the crash site were closed for about an hour and a half.
The area has since been cleared.
Police say an investigation is ongoing with charges pending.
