Norfolk OPP investigating series of suspicious fires [Video]

Investigators from the Ontario Provincial Police Norfolk County Crime Unit are seeking the public’s help as they investigate a series of suspicious fires.

In the early morning hours of Monday, the OPP, along with the Norfolk County Fire Department, responded to a structure fire on Windham Road 11 in Delhi.

Investigators determined the building was unoccupied and no one was hurt. The fire is being treated as suspicious and is currently under investigation by the Norfolk County OPP Crime unit.

Between Nov. 12 and Dec. 27, police, in coordination with the local fire department and paramedic services, responded to “multiple structure fires across the county,” all of which are also being investigated as suspicious.

The OPP says the following dates, times and location are of particular note:

• Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at approximately 10:38 p.m. – Windham East Quarter Line Road, Simcoe.
