Elgin County OPP are investigating after a deceased individual was discovered on the shoreline of Lake Erie in the township of Malahide.
Police were sent to Waneeta Beach on Jan. 4, after a resident found the body.
The identify of the deceased has not been determined at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
According to police, there is no threat to public safety.
