Home sales in Regina reach record high in 2024 [Video]

Above average home sales throughout 2024 translated into a record year for Regina that saw nearly 4,000 sales made.

According to a report from the Saskatchewan Realtors Association (SRA), Regina recorded 3,917 sales in 2024 which is an all time annual high.

In December, the city reported 198 sales, a five per cent year-over-year increase and 28 per cent above long-term trends, the report said.

The report also said that record housing demand is still impacting availability in the city.

Regina’s inventory levels decreased by 32 per cent year-over-year which is currently more than 40 per cent below historical averages, the report indicated.

The benchmark price for a home in the Queen City in December was $313,400, more than five per cent higher than in December of 2023, but down slightly from November 2024.
