Snow and warmer temperatures are forecast this weekend in southern Ontario.
This week, southern Ontario was hit with frigid temperatures down to -20 C with the windchill.
But milder temperatures are expected on the weekend.
After lows down to -11 C on Thursday night, highs around -4 C are expected on Friday in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Durham Region, Hamilton and Halton Region, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
It’s slightly warmer in the Niagara Region.
On Saturday, cloudy skies are expected with a 40 per cent chance of snow across much of the GTA. Highs around zero to -1 C and lows down to -8 C are expected.
Sunday looks much the same. Cloudy skies and highs around -2 C are forecast with lows around -6 C in the evening.
There is a 30 per cent chance of flurries on Sunday evening.
The outlook for next week is similar with below zero temperatures and a chance of snow on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
