The mother of a three-year-old Toronto boy is urging her former husband who is wanted in a parental abduction investigation to bring their son back to Canada from India.

“This is not about you. This is not about me. This is only about him,” a tearful Camila Vilas Boas told CP24 Thursday night.

“We are adults. We can deal with our problems, but he’s just growing up. He’s just a baby, and all he needs is to be protected, and that’s our job: to protect him, not hurt him.”

Boas made her appeal hours after Toronto police revealed that her ex-husband, 48-year-old Kapil Sunak, allegedly did not return to Canada with their three-year-old son after a trip to India, and as a result, he is now wanted for abduction by parent/custody order.

Police said Sunak and his son, Valentino, travelled to Delhi in July. He was ordered by the court …
