The Halifax Regional Police says it recovered a heat pump, bikes, and 300 boxes and bags as part of a “retail theft blitz” last month.
Police say they had extra patrols at stores and parking lots during holiday shopping in December.
On Dec. 18, officers executed a search warrant and seized more than 300 boxes and bags with stolen toys, clothing, electronic and household items from a Castle Hill Drive residence.
A 60-year-old woman is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
On Dec. 19, police seized a stolen heat pump, several thousand dollars worth of stolen alcohol and a large amount of clothing from an Adams Avenue residence.
Ricky Cameron, 56, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of property for the purpose of trafficking under $5,000. He appeared in court on Dec. 20.
