Many newcomers come to Canada seeking to change their lives, but leaving family, friends and traditions can take a toll. A new survey commissioned by CBC News shows the vast majority of newcomers feel homesick. The CBC’s Yasmine Ghania spoke to people in B.C. who cope with homesickness by keeping their cultures, traditions and languages alive.
