CVG police respond to call for possible incident on arriving flight [Video]

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Cincinnati International Airport police and public safety officers were called to an arriving flight Sunday afternoon, CVG officials say.

An Air Canada flight that landed around 3:20 p.m. was held up at CVG after a call reporting a possible incident on the flight, airport officials tell FOX19 NOW.

Sources on the flight say there was a “heavy police presence” and that U.S. Customs and Border Protection were checking passports and asking for passengers’ purpose of travel.

Officials say that after CVG police and public safety checked the flight, operations returned to normal.
