RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – One more Alberta Clipper system will race southeast across KOTA Territory today through Saturday. There will be some snow showers with this system, mainly around the Black Hills on west into Wyoming. Not nearly as much snow is expected compared with the last system which was much stronger.

However, modified arctic air will pour south across the region Saturday, setting us up for single digit and below zero low temperatures Sunday morning.

Westerly flow aloft will bring mild Pacific air next week, with near 50 degree temperatures likely Monday and Tuesday!
