Two popular desserts manufactured and distributed in Ontario have been recalled in Canada due to a salmonella outbreak.
A report by Health Canada has noted that the Lemon Delight and Tartlet with Forest Fruits food products by the brand D. Effe T. have been recalled due to salmonella contamination.
Those in possession of the product should not consume, use, sell, serve or distribute it.
Government officials have indicated that the packaging for the contaminated products possesses the following characteristics:
Lemon Delight
- Served in an 1180 g container (one box of nine pieces)
- (UPC) 8 058302 730097
- Best before dates: All up to and including 12/11/2025
Tartlet with Forest Fruits
- Served in an 1180 g container (one box of nine pieces)
- (UPC) 8 058302 730080
- Best before dates: All up to and including 12/11/2025
