Records were broken across the area today as temperatures climbed into the mid 50s for many cities across the region. Despite the blast of warmth, cooling temperatures and increasing moisture mean we could see some winter weather this weekend.

This afternoon, a high temperature of 53 set a new record in Green Bay. Moving forward, we will remain above average but still cooler than today. Highs for the rest of the week will be in the 30s.

Another “Alberta Clipper” will take aim on northeast Wisconsin Saturday night and into Sunday morning. This will likely produce a round of accumulating snow… perhaps some rain/wintry mix Sunday morning. Forecast totals are not set in stone, but it’s looking like around 1″ for the Fox Valley with several inches possible across the Northwoods.
