Eastbound I-84 is closed between Baker City and Ontario due to a truck crash Friday. Several crashes are also impacting traffic on I-84 in the Treasure Valley.
BOISE, Idaho — Several crashes are causing closures and delays on Interstate 84 in eastern Oregon and southwest Idaho amid wintry conditions Friday.
Eastbound I-84 is closed between Exit 304 in Baker City and Exit 374 in Ontario due to a crash at milepost 332, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reported. The crash is located two miles east of the Plano Road Interchange.
OR 245 also is closed at the junction with OR 7, and U.S. Highway 30 is closed at milepost 54 with no access to I-84, according to ODOT. The closure may last several hours.
Drivers are asked to delay travel if possible. Those traveling in the region Friday should prepare for delays and winter travel conditions.
