Three people including a man from Brampton have been charged following what police are calling a “significant” fentanyl bust in a small Ontario town.

The OPP says the incident started around 2 p.m. on Tuesday as a complaint about three “unwanted persons” inside a home on Moose Drive in Moosonee, a small town near Hudson Bay with no roads in or out that is only accessible by plane or train.

When officers arrived they found three male suspects inside the home who were arrested for trespassing, police say.

But a search turned up some 80 grams of suspected fentanyl with an approximate street value of $32,000.

Investigators also found some 130 grams of cannabis during the takedowns.
