Man dead after sports car hits building in an Ontario city [Video]

A man has died after a sports car struck a building in St. Catharines, Ontario.

The 24-year-old man was driving a Toyota Supra in the Glendale Avenue and Welland Canals Parkway area around 12:50 a.m. on Thursday, Niagara Regional Police said.

The vehicle was allegedly travelling at a high rate of speed, police said, adding the driver lost control and collided with a building.

Police said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
