A Milton, Ontario business operator has been charged a third time for operating an illegal chop shop that dismantles and then sells parts of stolen vehicles.
Halton Police say the most recent cases were uncovered last month but similar charges were also made last summer.
On Jan. 19 police began an investigation into a stolen vehicle that had been found at Khan Traders located at 4446 Trafalgar Road. The recovered vehicle had been reported stolen from Toronto in 2024.
A search warrant was then executed at the site and evidence consistent with the operation of an active chop shop was found at the location.
Then, on Jan. 31, another search warrant was carried out at a residence in Brampton where a man was arrested.
