PART of south-east London will be transformed in the next few years thanks to a huge new development taking place in London.

A new multi-use space called Corner Corner is set to open at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre.

Located in Canada Water, Corner Corner will house a new music venue, a food hall and an indoor farm, in a disused branch of The Range.

While the 1980s shopping centre is due to be demolished in the next few years, Corner Corner has been allowed to open with plans approved by Southwark Council Planning Committee last week.

The site is being developed by British Land.

It will be open for five years and be home to interactive attractions like a new Minecraft Experience.
