The second statutory holiday of the year is Family Day in Ontario.

The holiday is celebrated on the third Monday of February in most provinces and allows people to take a day off work or school to enjoy family time during one of the coldest months of the year. The holiday is relatively new in Ontario, as it was first celebrated in 2008.
