One man is in hospital in life-threatening condition after a nine-vehicle collision in Uxbridge Township Monday.
The accident happened on Regional Road 1 (Concession Road 7), south of Fowlers Road (between the hamlets of Udora and Leaskdale), with one man involved in the collision taken to a Toronto trauma centre by paramedics.
The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours while investigators gather evidence.
Durham Police are advising motorists to consider alternate routes.
