Between Feb. 8 and Feb. 10, Halton Regional Police say officers conducted eight raids at residences in Oakville, Brampton and Toronto, leading to five arrests and more than 50 charges laid.

Police say they’ve cut into an organized drug supply network after seizing guns, bullet-proof vets, narcotics and $250,000 cash in raids in Brampton, Oakville and Toronto.

The searches were part of an investigation called Project Regal aimed at dismantling a drug trafficking network that started in Oakville and Brampton, Halton Regional Police said.

Between Feb. 8 and Feb. 10, police say officers conducted eight raids at residences in Oakville, Brampton and Toronto, leading to five arrests and more than 50 charges laid.

During the searches, police found around 11 kilos of cocaine, three ounces of fentanyl and half a kilo of methamphetamines, investigators say.
