Mississauga is getting a new Yemeni coffee shop with an elegant interior design.

Jabal Coffee House opens at 3515 Odyssey Dr., Unit 63, in the Ridgeway and Eglinton area, next week. Jabal started in Dearborn, Michigan and has 11 locations opening in 2025 across the United States, according to their website.

The Mississauga Jabal Coffee House has a soft opening on Monday, Feb. 24 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Mississauga shop will be the first in Canada.

The name Jabal comes from the Arabic word for mountain, highlighting the origin of the coffee beans from Yemen. The beans are handpicked and sun-dried using methods passed down through generations, according to Jabal Coffee House’s website.
