More charges have been laid against a Brampton man following a knifepoint home invasion and police say the accused may be responsible for a string of similar break-ins in Ontario.

Halton Regional Police say three men broke through the front door of a home in the area of Clark Boulevard and Thompson Road South just before 5 a.m. On Thursday in Milton.

Once inside, police say the culprits confronted four family members including children, threatening them with a knife and a screwdriver while demanding cash, jewellery and keys to a car.
