Husband accidentally runs over wife at car wash, police say [Video]

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX/Gray News) – A woman in New York state was sent to the hospital after her husband ran her over at a car wash, police said.

According to police, the accident happened at the Splash Car Wash on Wednesday in Plattsburg, just south of the Canadian border.

Investigators said the woman got out of the vehicle near the kiosk and her husband accidentally hit the gas pedal, running her over.

Police said the woman was taken to the hospital but was in stable condition.
