A children’s pyjama set is recalled due to a flammability risk.

Forever 21 brand “Too Cute pajamas” are recalled because they do not meet the flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children, according to a recall notice on the Health Canada website.

The loose-fitting children’s sleepwear can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more readily than tight-fitting sleepwear, the notice said.

The notice said that once the pyjamas are ignited they will burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child’s body.

This recall involves Forever 21’s two-piece children’s pyjama sets sold in one style. The set includes a white t-shirt with a rainbow and flower image paired with a boxer short in pastel coloured flower print. The pyjama set was sold in sizes 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 and 13/14. The style number is 01263030, and UPC is 01263030 printed on the …
