Pharmasave Portage has recently introduced a cutting-edge automated system designed to enhance their prescription filling process. Known affectionately as “Brad,” this machine is set to revolutionize the way the pharmacy operates, improving efficiency and freeing up staff time to focus more on patient interaction.

Caitlin Giercke, owner and Pharmacist at Pharmasave, shared her excitement about the new addition.

“It’s pretty exciting. Brad helps us count out the top 54 most commonly dispensed medications, streamlining our workflow. It’s a big change for us, but it’s also a great opportunity to improve how we serve our community.”

Brad, officially known as the “Count Assist,” is the first of its kind in Portage la Prairie. While other pharmacies in town may have some forms of automation, none have this specific model.
