Highway 407 ETR is now free during certain times for some drivers in Ontario [Video]

Some drivers in Ontario can drive on Highway 407 ETR during rush hour for free.

A spokesperson for the highway told INsauga.com that its part of their promotional driving offers.

“Last month, we targeted over one million customers with rush hour driving offers. Promotions ranged from one and three months, and had different driving terms, all targeting rush hour periods,” the spokesperson said.

“Although the enrolment period for these promotions ended Feb. 28, the best way to be eligible for a driving offer is to have a 407 ETR My Account, and ensure you’re opted in for marketing emails with a current email address.”

Eligible customers would’ve received the promo via email and in their account, the spokesperson said.

One of those promos is “Spring Into Free Rush Hour,” giving eligible personal vehicles with Ontario plates free drives during rush hour this month.
