Measles case may have exposed people at Toronto Pearson Airport and other Mississauga locations: health officials [Video]

Public health officials have confirmed another case of measles connected to Toronto Pearson Airport in Mississauga and at least two other locations in the city.

Peel Public Health said the latest case of the highly contagious disease was confirmed on Tuesday and included a recent history of international travel.

Public health officials said in a news release Thursday afternoon the public may have been exposed on the following flight or at several locations:

  • Feb. 24, Air Canada Flight AC57, Dubai to Toronto
  • Feb. 24, Toronto Pearson Airport, Terminal 1, between 8:36 a.m. and 12 noon
  • Feb. 27, Aboud Health Walk-in Clinic and Pharmacy (Burnhamthorpe Road West and Confederation Parkway, Mississauga) between 3:15 and 7 p.m.
  • Feb. 27-28, Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, in the emergency room between 8:45 p.m. and 12:41 a.m.

Health officials advise anyone who believes they have been exposed to the measles virus to do the following:
