Unclaimed huge lottery ticket was purchased in an Ontario city [Video]

Time is running out on the purchaser of a lottery ticket that is worth $100,000.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) says the ticket is for the Lotto 6/49 draw that was held almost a year ago on March 23, 2024.

Whoever holds the ticket is the winner of $100,000 by having the Encore numbers of 1 – 8 – 2 – 5 – 1 – 3 – 0.

It was purchased in Brampton.

With Encore, players must match the last six of the seven numbers in exact order to win the $100,000 prize. Players then have one year from the draw date to collect their winnings, which means whoever holds this ticket has about two weeks to step up.

The OLG says their mandate is to try to find the winner and pay out the cash.
