OVERNIGHT – SATURDAY MORNING: Friday ended the workweek with more clouds than Sun, as well as highs in the 30s, i.e. a cool, gray note. Around midnight, an Alberta Clipper will bring a few snow showers into northwest MN. Most of the snow showers will be concentrated between Roseau and Beltrami counties, and not much snow (about 0.5″ at most) is expected in those areas. Still, this does mean a few slick spots near the International Border, so keep that in mind for the morning commute. The rest of our region will simply see cloudy skies, and by around 7 AM, any leftover snowflakes will be gone, leaving a mix of Sun and clouds for the morning commute. Temperatures will also be in the upper-20s to even low-30s, well above normal for early March. Overall, aside from an active pattern in NW MN, expect a quiet Saturday morning.
